The mold generally includes two parts, a movable mold and a fixed mold (or a convex mold and a female mold), which can be divided and combined. When the parts are separated, the parts are taken out, and when they are closed, the blanks are injected into the mold cavity to form. The mold is a precision tool with complex shape and bearing the expansion force of the blank. It has high requirements on structural strength, stiffness, surface hardness, surface roughness and processing accuracy. The development level of mold production is one of the important signs of mechanical manufacturing level.
Plastic molds can be divided into three categories according to the different types of cast-in-place flower pot mold systems:
(1) Dashuikou mold: The runner and gate are on the parting line, and the product is demolded together when the mold is opened. The design is simple, easy to process, and the cost is low. Therefore, many people use the large nozzle system. The plastic mold structure is divided into two parts: dynamic mold and fixed mold. As the active part of the injection machine is a moving mold (mostly the ejection side), the inactive portion of the injection machine is generally called a fixed mold. Since the mold-fixing part of the Dashui mold is generally composed of two steel plates, it is also called "two-plate mold". The two-plate mold is a simple structure in a large nozzle mold.
(2) Sluice nozzle: The runner and gate are not on the parting line, generally directly on the product, so it is necessary to design a set of nozzle parting lines. The design is more complicated and difficult to process. Generally, it depends on the product requirements. Fine water system. The fixed mold part of the fine nozzle mold is generally composed of three steel plates, so it is also called "three-plate mold". The three-plate mold is a simple structure in a fine nozzle mold.
(3) Hot runner mold: This type of mold structure is basically the same as the fine water nozzle. The difference is that the flow channel is in one or more constant temperature hot runner plates and hot nozzles, no cold material release, flow channel and gate. Directly on the product, the flow channel does not need to be demoulded. This system is also called the waterless port system, which can save raw materials, is suitable for the case where the raw materials are expensive and the product requirements are high, the design and processing are difficult, and the mold cost is high. The hot runner system, also known as the hot runner system, is mainly composed of a hot sprue bush, a hot runner plate, and a temperature-controlled electric box. Our common hot runner systems are available in single-point hot gates and multi-point hot gates. The single-point hot gate uses a single hot sprue sleeve to directly inject molten plastic into the cavity. It is suitable for plastic molds with a single cavity and a single gate. The multi-point hot gate branches the molten material to each through a hot runner plate. The manifold is re-entered into the cavity, which is suitable for single-cavity multi-point feed or multi-cavity molds.
